PLO 6 & 7: Evaluate & Utilize technology to facilitate effective assessment and evaluation & collect and analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings
The redesign assignment emphasized
on how to use and search for technology, why it should be used, and how to
evaluate technology to create a better learning experience for, a deeper
connection to and a sense of community for the learners. Students will be of different backgrounds,
economically, culturally, and gender. It was created to demonstrate what, how
and why to engage the students in being environmentally conscientious and
practice being a good digital citizen. The
lesson includes what was learned through the MATLT program classes, to support,
guide and assist the learner in all their wondrous variety, to reach effective
learning while assessing and evaluating the learner to assure they reach the
lesson's goals. This lesson was
selected for the Program Learning Outcome 6 and 7 both utilizing technology to
assure learners accomplishment in long term knowledge and cognitive development
is reached.
Redesigned: I
added a second objective that includes creating their own social media
(Facebook Twitter or Blog) and to manage it with the idea of being a good
digital citizen. Used WebQuest more efficiently by editing and adding some
information. Attached a blog link, https://whygiveupwhenyoucankeeptrying.blogspot.com/2019/05/learning-to-learn-revisited-learning-to.html,
to guide the students on
how a blog can assist in dispersing information. Attached an evaluations and PowerPoint to
guide innovation in what technology they can use to create their own awareness.
