PLO 8: Demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of learning and leadership

The redesign assignment has an emphasis on how to use, analyze, research and qualify technology to assure the best fit to the instructional design, environment and most importantly the learner and to get the best learning experience.  This lesson attempts to built a foundation on why the technology selected should be used, how to evaluate if it was functional and efficient and lead to a successful learning experience, achieve the objective, retain information long term and use the skills taught. This lesson demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of learning and leadership.  The activity selected will show in-depth knowledge of different subjects in a familiar technology tool utilized efficiently and an additional verbal presentation to support the trainers or the learner and guide them to be leaders themselves.   
Redesigned: First I reorganized the sub-categories and graphics for a smoother flow within the PowerPoint. Second, I added  links through the presentation, to enable the presenter or learner options on what topic to select, pace, and then options to select sub-categories. Third, there are notation added to guide on navigation.   Fourth, I edited and added information on the slides.  Last, I added Jing presentation to give a summary on the functionalities of the presentation and a guide on how it can be presented. The Jing proposes that both PowerPoint and Jing presentation can be emailed.
